I was born in Indonesia in the mid eighties. Graduated from SLTP Santa Maria Fatima and SMU Negeri 8 Jakarta, earned my Computer Science bachelor degree from University of Indonesia and graduated in 2008.
I have studied music from age 5 under the guidance of Ms. Anke at Sekolah Musik Yamaha Midori. Under Ms. Lyla Sulaiman’s supervision, I entered Sekolah Musik Yayasan Pendidikan Musik in 1998 and studied piano with Ms. Caroline Lukito for four years. In 2002, I continued my musical education and in 2007 graduated from the school’s piano pre-conservatory program under the guidance of Ms. Aisha Ariadna Pletsher.
In 2005, I studied the basics of singing under the supervision of Ms. Renata Lim, and of conducting under Ms. Lanny Kartika in 2007. From 2008, I have studied music conducting with Mr. Budi Utomo Prabowo and has participated in conducting masterclass given by French conductor Mr. Michael Cousteau in mid 2009. Since 2005, assisted and led several choirs and orchestras in Jakarta, among them: Eliata Choir and Chamber Orchestra, Twilite Youth Orchestra, Celeste Chamber Orchestra.
I also served as adjudicator for several choir competitions, and in 2011 collaborated with Angela Astri Soemantri and wrote an article “Indonesian Folk Choral Music” which is published on International Choral Bulletin (ICB). Currently serves as Eliata Choir resident conductor and Music History assistant lecturer at Yayasan Pendidikan Musik.
